Four Nordic Folk Pops is a commission from Jesper Juul Windahl and The Danish Trombone Quartet.
The piece is a suite consisting of four Nordic folk tunes; two from Sweden, one from Denmark and one from Norway.
First Movement is Zacharias Janssons polska which I wrote down from a YouTube video and thereafter processed.
Second Movement is a Danish, beautiful ballad named «Harpan».
Third Movement is a well-known wedding march from Jëmtland, Sweden.
Fourth Movement is one of the most well.known Norwegian songs; «Eg heiter Håvard Hedde» which is here given a rather funky style.
