“In the Evening”: This beautiful "folk-tune" from Hornindal in Norway has been attached to a beautiful poem by the well-know author Arnulf Øverland (1889-1968). The poem describes the atmosphere of a dark evening in the autumn, going to bed longing for your loved one throughout the long, dark night. The arrangement should be played in a singing, legato style.
