Svein Fjermestad (1988) was born and raised in Vigrestad at Jæren in Norway. After a year at Manger Folkehøgskule he attended music and science teacher studies at Bergen University College. Svein works in a primary school and with bands in Åsane and Nord-Hordland outside Bergen. Since 2007 he has also been a member of Eikanger-Bjørsvik Musikklag as a percussionist and has also taken part in their work with children and young musicians.He is also active as a freelance percussionist, conductor, composer and arranger at the band scene in Hordaland and Rogaland.
