    REACH FOR THE SKY was composed by Jerker Johansson at the time he was serving as principal conductor for The Royal Swedish Air Force Band. The march, written in a classical British style, was premiered 30th of January 2000 dedicated to all the employees of the Swedish Air Force. The idea for the piece came to Jerker when he was on a concert tour in Scandinavia. Overwhelmed by the grandeur and the majestic landscape of Norwegian mountains and fjords he was inspired to form a piece as being one with nature.
